swissline FINLAND – Customer case

Swissline is a Swiss professional cosmetics brand available through select retailers and cosmetologists worldwide.

Swissline has strict brand guidelines that were also followed in the development of the Finnish website.

The website for Swissline Finland was built with WooCommerce for online sales. The key feature was a ”member area” where professional clients can log in, place orders, and access downloads.

In addition to products, the member area offers downloadable images, guides, and texts for retailers to use. These materials are restricted from consumer access, so the consumer store only displays product information and images.

While working together the client also received monthly organic content for their social media channels, designed to guide customers along the purchase journey towards the website and ultimately, a purchase decision.

DIGITAL PURCHASE PATH & MARKETING

After completing the website and e-commerce project, the focus shifted to exploring regular marketing strategies and ways to drive traffic to the site.

To support this, a digital customer journey was designed. Although the journey has been reviewed multiple times, its key elements were summarized in a workshop that covered:

– Ideal customers, where to find them, and the type of content they consume
– Methods to guide customers further along the journey
– Influence and presence on social media
– Social media plan and overarching themes

A key aspect was tracking these actions and collecting analytics.

The goal was to take a holistic approach, addressing all areas rather than focusing on individual aspects, to achieve goals more effectively.

THE VALUE OF AN ONGOING MARKETING SERVICE

After the website project, the collaboration continued on a monthly basis for over 2 years untill the customer hired an in-house marketer to help out in their marketing acitivites.

This ongoing partnership provided the client with personal support and security regarding the website, digital customer journey, and marketing efforts.

We also acted as a sparring partner and support for other business-related matters, allowing the client to confidently outsource various tasks, even on short notice.

There was never a time when the client couldn´t message or call for advice or assistance, and this type of close collaboration is something we value the most. It allows us to offer the client the best possible benefits.
